Oracle Enterprise Manager: Reports Failed Jobs is empty

I have several failed reports, but I can’t see them on the Failed Jobs Queue.

Searching across Metalink I found this document ID:

No Reports Jobs Listed In Enterprise Manager “Failed Jobs”, Even Though Several Jobs Have Failed [ID 387541.1]

Bug:6750007 “SOMETIMES, JOBS LINKS IN REPORTS SERVER EM WEB PAGE NO MORE WORK”

Metalink says that there is no fix for the bug. The workaround for this bug is as follows :

1) Stop Reports Server
2) Rename .dat file (located in $ORACLE_HOME/reports/server directory)
3) Start Reports Server

Please note that this modification will cause the loss of all the report server history and all the scheduled jobs for the particular report server. If necessary please get a list of all the scheduled jobs and reschedule them after removing the persistent file.

Oracle Enterprise Manager: Reports Failed Jobs is empty

We are using Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2 (10.1.2.3.0), and we have several reports that has failed and we can’t see them on the Reports Failed Jobs Queue.

Searching across metalink I found this document ID: No Reports Jobs Listed In Enterprise Manager “Failed Jobs”, Even Though Several Jobs Have Failed [ID 387541.1].
saying it’s a bug (Bug:6750007 “SOMETIMES, JOBS LINKS IN REPORTS SERVER EM WEB PAGE NO MORE WORK”)

As the doc says, there’s no solution for this bug. The workaround is:

1) Stop Reports Server
2) Rename .dat file (located in $ORACLE_HOME/reports/server directory)
3) Start Reports Server

But this will cause the loss of all the report server history and all the scheduled jobs for the particular report server. If you have scheduled jobs you’ll have to reeschedule them again.
